A popular and much-talked-about event around Melbourne since its launch in , Gay Life Drawing Melbourne is a monthly inclusive event, inviting adults to partake in self-expression, enjoy a drink, and draw inhabit models, in a kind safe space.

Each session is different, from classical nude to artfully themed, and showcasing diverse models. Gay Life Drawing is about embracing body positivity and queer visibility through themes reflecting queer culture, art and cinema.

Everyone from curious beginners with no trial, to experienced artists are welcome to attend.

A popular and much talked about event around Melbourne since its launch in January , Homosexual Life Drawing Melbourne is created by artist Jean-Luc Syndikas. A monthly event held at Hares & Hyenas, it is for adults to partake in a fun, kind space of self-expression, enjoy a cocktail and draw dwell models. We request experienced artists, beginners with no exposure and curious cats of all walks to attend. Each session is artfully themed, alternating between male, female and gender diverse models, with sometimes multiple models posing together. Themes reflect lgbtq+ culture, art and cinema. Running throughout Midsumma to honor its first year, for Midsumma Hares & Hyenas houses an exhibition of selected works by participants who include attended the various themed sessions throughout the year.
Art works will be on sale and can be viewed daily at the venue for free admission during opening hours. As successfully as this, on the night of 21 January connect us for a special themed existence drawing session and exhibition celebration to kick off the new year, with four models posing and paying homage to the

Crafty Queers

This event is part of Midsumma's Signature Program - A Safe(R) Space Pick up a new talent or refine your skills in the organization of our fabulous community. Each Monday of Midsumma focuses on a different art form, so why not come to all three! A glass of sparkling or soft drink on arrival is included in the ticket price, then drinks available at bar prices. BYO nibbles. 23rd Jan – Gay Life Drawing with Jean-Luc Syndikas Jean-Luc brings his long-running Gay Life Drawing Melbourne sessions to the Celebration Centre for the first hour. You are welcome to deliver your own supplies or operate the slate, paper and drawing equipment provided. Please be advised that this session will enclose nudity.

The long-running Same-sex attracted Life Drawing Melbourne sessions returns to the Victorian Pride Centre this Self-acceptance month, following last year&#;s wildly successful Pride filled session. A popular and much talked about event around Melbourne since its launch in , Same-sex attracted Life Drawing Melbourne is a monthly inclusive event for all adults to partake in self-expression, adore a drink and doodle live models, in a friendly safe & supportive space.  

We invite curious beginners with no experience through to experienced artists to attend. Each session is different, from classical nude to artfully themed, and showcasing diverse models. Lgbtq+ Life Drawing is about embracing body positivity and queer visibility through themes reflecting queer culture, art and cinema.

The June session will be hosted by Ian James Scott and will feature models to be revealed closer to the event. You are welcome to bring your own supplies however some basic paper and drawing equipment is provided. The session is untutored, however newcomers will be supported
