A photographer is bringing the history of Liverpool's gay nightclubs to experience with his exciting unused archive project.


Stuart Linden Rhodes, from Harrogate, a instructor by day, spent his nights in the s touring the north and taking snaps inside some of the country's most famous lesbian, gay, double attraction and transgender venues.


The photographer, now 64, is sharing his long-lost photos on Instagram in an archiving project he started during the first coronavirus lockdown, and is set to release a photography guide in

Stuart told the ECHO : "I’ve had the negatives sat on a shelf for the last 30 years.

"Part of my lockdown was scanning them and digitising them, and then I just started putting them on Instagram.

"They became really popular, which I wasn’t expecting. I just idea a few people would like them."
