I've just returned from my 13th gay cruise with my son: 4, passengers, the vast majority gay men. And me!
This was the second gay cruise I've done this year. One year I did three. We've left from Rome, the Caribbean, Miami and Modern York.
The cruises have kingly shows and daily dance parties. They're all in their element here, and in their own environment — they're not being judged or stared at. William can enjoy his lifestyle and I get to enjoy it with him.
We're not your typical mother and son. We're friends.

You've probably heard of lgbtq+ cruises and wondered how they differ from "traditional" cruises. Are they expose to straight people? Is it all about partying? What about the hook-up element?
