The epic proposal the Valor crew just pulled off wasn't the first time a couple got engaged on Below Deck. Support in Season 1, David Bradberry's boyfriend, Trevor Knight, asked him to marry him via Skype while the deckhand was on charter (clip above), and he said, "Of course!"
David and Trevor would go on to stay happily ever after for several years after his time on Below Deck. But unfortunately, this fairytale romance has come to an end.
Trevor confirmed that he and David have broken up in a post on Facebook on October 10, as reported by Towleroad. "I feel a need to let everyone understand that David Alanson Bradberry and I are no longer together. I’ve been single for awhile now," he wrote. "I don’t need any calls, texts or DMs. I’m doing it alone. I will not answer any questions."
Trevor said that he still intends to keep David a part of his life after almost a decade together. "He was part of me for 9 years and I will never ignore him nor lose contact with him. We made a family together and so we function together with that. Thank you for understanding and respecting

Trevor Knight (born ) is an Irish musician, composer, theatre sound designer and director. Born in England, he moved to Northern Ireland as a minor where he took an interest in the piano. He briefly attended college in Dublin, at Bolton Street College and it was here where he formed his first organization, Naima. Whilst living in the Netherlands, he founded the new wave community, Auto Da Fé, along with Gay Woods. When the group split up in , Trevor moved into music composition and theatre sound design.
