For its 4th year Wynwood Pride returned to its Music Festival roots with a takeover of the iconic RC Cola Plant, an iconic Wynwood landmark. It was the largest version of the festival yet with four stages of performances and plenty of dancing space! The weekend culminated with blowout performances from MARINA, Violet Chachki & Gottmik, Cupcakke, Slayyyter, Noa Kirel, Alex Chapman, Lose Toto, Athena Dion, and more. For , the event was in benefit of Equality Florida, the organization on the front lines of fighting the “Don’t Say Gay” Law. This recently passed law bars teachers from mentioning or discussing LGBTQ history, people or issues in common schools, threatens to out Diverse students to their parents, bans books, removes anti-bullying resources, and isolates LGBTQ kids and families.
